We’ve included the major parks in the area with some of their most popular trails. We highly recommend downloading the AllTrails app before heading out on your hike. It is one of the most comprehensive guides for hiking available and includes maps, elevation, weather, and more.

Below, we’ve include how far away the park is from Hotel Domestique, the level of trail, how long the trail is, and an estimated time to complete.

The Upstate is known as a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and adventure-seekers.

Whether you’re looking to take a hike to see some waterfalls, go tubing or kayaking on one of the many waterways, or engage in even more adventurous activities, you will surely find many available options within driving distance of Hotel Domestique.

Here, we’ve included both indoor and outdoor activities.

While states like California, Washington, and Oregon are known around the world for their wineries and vineyards, the Upstate of South Carolina and Western North Carolina are home to many wonderful wineries as well.

Spread throughout the region (with the highest concentration in and around the Hendersonville, NC area), the wineries of the area serve up a wide variety of wines, ensuring that every type of wine drinker will feel welcome.

It’s no secret that there is more to do in our corner of South Carolina than you could fit in a day, a weekend, or even a whole week. If you’re visiting with your loved one, our goal is to make sure that you find rest and relaxation in whatever form you desire.

From yoga and massages on property to adventure hikes or horseback riding, we’ve provided a sample itinerary to help you map out an amazing day with your significant other.

If you’re looking to get away from the property for a day and experience a little more of the Upstate, there are plenty of activities available for couples.

We’ve outline activities within a two-hour drive, each of the cities mentioned having much more to do as well. If you decide on a destination city, we recommend checking out their local tourism board for more activities and information.

Often called Beer City, USA, Asheville is one of the hubs for craft beer on the east coast. Boasting dozens of breweries (there are over 25 within city limits alone), there is no way to visit all of them in a day or even a week.

We’ve only listed 15 of the breweries within city limits (and one outside), so for more information check out the Asheville Brewers Alliance, www.avlbrewers.com. We recommend starting the day with a hearty breakfast at Restaurant 17 while you review your itinerary for the day.

Then, we recommend a tour day of 3-4 breweries, allotting travel time between breweries as well as an 1-1.5 hours at each to enjoy a tasting flight.

Located just 30 minutes north of Hotel Domestique, Hendersonville – “The City of Four Seasons” is a city with charm, character, and breweries!
