Winery Passport

The Upstate of South Carolina and Western North Carolina boast a thriving wine scene with numerous wineries. Visitors can explore a diverse range of wines, making it an appealing destination for wine enthusiasts

While states like California, Washington, and Oregon are known around the world for their wineries and vineyards, the Upstate of South Carolina and Western North Carolina are home to many wonderful wineries as well. Spread throughout the region (with the highest concentration in and around the Hendersonville, NC area), the wineries of the area serve up a wide variety of wines, ensuring that every type of wine drinker will feel welcome.

We recommend choosing 2-3 wineries and allotting at least 1-1.5 hours at each to fully enjoy a tasting.
