"There is nothing more satisfying than pouring into a momentous event (wedding, corporate or otherwise) and seeing it come together perfectly for the client!"

Haydn Shaak

Haydn’s focus on local and seasonal ingredients, along with his dedication to classical techniques has elevated the culinary program to new heights.

Danielle Nance

After spending three years with Tío Juan’s Margaritas, developing a franchise-wide marketing plan and training developing managers, she once again set her eyes on the south. Back in Greenville, Danielle worked for High Street Hospitality restaurant group before opening The Playwright Pub with Chef Adam Cooke. Danielle then was promoted to General Manager at The Green Room, which she led through multiple major renovations and a complete kitchen restructure. Elizabeth Kinney

Assistant Director of Food and Beverage

She is inspired by the sights and sounds of Restaurant 17 and Hotel Domestique’s natural settings. “This place inspires me, and I try to capture the flavor of our unique setting through my work.”

Chad Greenwood

Director of Cycling and Maintenance
A transplant from Syracuse, NY, Chad began his career in bicycle mechanics in Astoria, NY at a local shop while pursuing his passion for the arts. However, it was not until he moved down south, where he had the opportunity to work with some great folks from Greece and Columbia, that he was truly introduced to all things cycling repair. While art has remained a passion of Chad’s, he always fell back into a bike shop to pay the bills. After 5 different shops and 20 years of wrenching, Chad calls himself a “jack of some trades, with much more knowledge on bike repair than an air conditioner.” But do not let his modesty fool you, Chad is known not only as the Hotel Domestique resident Cycling Mechanic, but also the go-to expert for just about anything mechanical.
